When donors support our efforts to share Feldenkrais with the world we love to say “thank you” by sharing great donor benefits, and our Patron-level donors receive access to our very favorite one. Patrons Monthly (formerly called Straight from Class) is a robust, always growing collection of Nick’s favorite recent lessons, now reorganized on a beautiful new webpage.
There’s over 40 full-length and shorter lessons in Patrons Monthly currently, and our new lesson search and filter allows you to find what you want by sorting by lesson length, body position, and more. Everyone can browse and sort all the lesson titles and descriptions. Take a look!
Additionally we’ve created a new Deep Dives page and added Breathing with Vitality and Supple Feet, Powerful Legs to it. Deep Dives are what we now call all our miniseries, which we’ve refined and updated. They’re guided trips through Patrons-only content, integrating exclusive lessons into new courses of study for curious Felden-fans. They’ve been very popular, and we’ll be adding more soon!
And finally, after January 1, 2022 our Lessons from Awareness Through Movement collection will become part of our Patron-level benefits, fulfilling Nick’s original intention for this collection. They’ve been marked “temporarily available to all” since our 2019 website launch.
In 2021 Nick resumed his project to record all 12 of these seminal Moshe Feldenkrais “ATM book” lessons, adding two more to the six he previously recorded. Making these lessons Patrons-only is helping to fund Nick’s research and study as he turns the last few lessons – the rarely taught ones – into lovingly-crafted learning opportunities that are accessible to the general public like the rest of his recordings.
Soon the ATM book collection and our new Deep Dives will join Patrons Monthly and all our other Patron benefits, offering even more value to our Patron community as we express our thanks for their support!
