Nick Strauss-Klein leads all dates.
Newcomers and drop-ins welcome!
Our class takes a survey approach to the principles and practice of Feldenkrais ATM (Awareness Through Movement) study. Each week I highlight the principles at work in the lesson we explore, so we can closely examine how to maximize the quality of life benefits of a personal Feldenkrais practice.
Benefits of ATM study typically include reduced pain, learning more enjoyable and sustainable movement patterns (day-to-day/athletic/artistic), self-discovery, and a more accessible sense of calm and comfort “in one’s own skin” as we learn to function with more ease, confidence, and pleasure in all that we do
- We study a wide variety of ATM lessons. Ongoing discussion with students influences my lesson choices. Please contact me with requests for specific lessons or learning topics.
- We enjoy unrecorded discussion after class, for students who attend live and wish to stay to chat.
- Newcomers are very welcome, though the last class of the any month may not be appropriate for newcomers to Feldenkrais.
The FP Weekly class is an opportunity to be in a lively nurturing dialog of curiosity about the principles and practice of the Feldenkrais Method, so we can harness the wonderful self-improvement tools of Feldenkrais to move and feel better in all that we do.
In the Twin Cities, MN, USA? Some Wednesdays at 6:00pm I teach an in-person version of the FP Weekly Class lesson I led the morning before. Learn more
See you on the mat,
– Nick
I used to find each week’s lesson title, and I do not see that for January.
Where is it hiding ?
Thank you .
I publish those after the fact. Since I’m always watching and planning with Zoom students I often don’t choose lessons ahead of time. Titles of Recent Replays are on our class page, and I list monthly titles in the monthly email newsletter at least once before they leave our sales page.
