I’ll be one of the teachers at a Feldenkrais retreat in New England this spring, hosted by my friends Jeff Haller and Andrew Gibbons over at Feldenkrais First.

Come study in-person with me and some of my favorite teachers! Read on for full info, and don’t miss the early-bird deadline.

RETREAT FORWARD

Creativity, Action & The Feldenkrais Method

A retreat for dancers, musicians, performers and anyone seeking an artful life.

(All backgrounds/experiences welcome; no need to be a professional artist.)

No matter your background, this retreat will nourish and improve your coordination and self-expression. Our week together isn’t about choreographing perfection, but weaving a clearer perception of the whole body in action.

We’ll gather amateur and professional performing artists, people wanting greater specificity and support in their movement practice, and those wanting a deeper experience of the Feldenkrais Method to integrate into their daily lives.

Awareness Through Movement Works for Everyone

Our work has an intelligent and compassionate core. The practice avoids grinding against the limits of your range of motion, strength, or flexibility—the old “no pain, no gain” paradigm. Instead, you’ll learn to compose your coordination for efficiency and elegance.

The retreat is designed for anyone who craves:

  • Greater self-expression in art, dance, music and daily life.
  • A safe space to grow and refine your coordination and awareness.
  • Community and inspiration among people who value curiosity and exploration over perfection.

As a group we’ll step out of routine and into possibility. You’ll leave Vermont with a freer body, an open mind, and new connections that light you up.
