From strength to strength

2024 was a great year at The Feldenkrais Project! Thanks to clear goals, the hard work of my amazing part-time staff and volunteers, incredible word-of-mouth sharing by our listeners, and the generosity of our donors, The FP accomplished so much.

We had about 50,000 visitors to our website last year, and together all users opened over a quarter million lesson pages! We added a bounty of new lessons and study tools. And our community of Members and Patrons grew substantially.

The Feldenkrais Project is in a strong financial position as we start 2025. Out of this strength I am exploring new ways to pursue our vision and mission using donation revenue that remains after meeting expenses for technology, staff, and taxes, and paying myself fairly.

The FP is a mission-based small business run in the spirit of a nonprofit. In that spirit, in 2025 I will distribute 5% of 2024 donation revenue from our Members and Patrons, after expenses and taxes, to the following mission-aligned nonprofit organizations.

The Feldenkrais Legacy Forum

The Mission of Feldenkrais Legacy Forum is to promote the integrity, evolution, and sustainability of the Feldenkrais Method of Somatic Education for future generations.

Legacy Forum is an organization I’ve been interested in for years, created and run by people I deeply trust. It has just recently become an independent nonprofit, making it the perfect time to support them. I’m particularly excited about their Collaborative Learning Project, created to help Feldenkrais Practitioners support each other and the quality of the work they offer the public.

Join me in giving: Tax-deductible donations to Feldenkrais Legacy Forum can be made here.

The Bonnie Rich Humiston Scholarship Fund at FEFNA

This scholarship fund at the Feldenkrais Educational Foundation of North America is designed to support Feldenkrais trainees who are taking a full Feldenkrais teacher training with the intention of working as a Feldenkrais Practitioner.

Join me in giving: Tax-deductible donations to the Bonnie Rich Humiston Scholarship Fund can be made at the link above.

My hope is that this year’s giving is only the beginning of The FP’s financial support for other mission-aligned organizations.

On behalf of all who use and benefit from The Feldenkrais Project, thank you – for listening, sharing, and, when possible, supporting our work financially.

Thank you to our Members and Patrons for helping us share over 50 Feldenkrais lessons with no financial barrier, and enabling us to pursue Our Vision & Mission in these new ways!

If you’re not yet a Feldenkrais Project donor and you think that more people doing more Feldenkrais makes the world a better place, we’d be honored to have your financial support.
