“But which lesson should I do?!” is a common “Felden-crisis”. Here’s our solution.
Introducing “Today’s Lesson”
Because sometimes you just want to do a lesson, not choose a lesson.
Each day we randomly choose one free lesson and one for our Patrons. It’s like dropping into a Feldenkrais class!
For all our listeners, thanks to a donor
Yesterday was our website’s birthday, and we’ve got a fun new page to add to the celebration! The Feldenkrais Project’s resources have grown a lot in our three years. For some folks the biggest obstacle to getting down on the floor for a lesson is deciding which one to do!
So when Nate Loker, a Feldenkrais Project Patron, first suggested a “lesson of the day” feature for The FP it struck us instantly as the kind of simple, great idea that makes you wonder how you hadn’t thought of it before!
With gratitude to Nate for the inspiration we got right to work. I’m excited to share this playfully animated page designed by Barbara Schendel, our “web guru” and artist:
Bookmark that page! You can also find it in our Resources menu and in the new content guide at the top of our homepage.
“Today’s Lesson” is not just for folks with choice fatigue — it’s also a learning strategy. Studying a wide variety of lessons you might not have chosen for yourself is a very good way to practice Feldenkrais.
Like Wordle “Today’s Lesson” changes daily, but it’s the same for everyone. Enjoy with friends!
Happy studies,
Nick Strauss-Klein
